Tracey Lloyd - Director General

Tracey became Director General in March 2015, having joined the BHTA in 2012 as Commercial Director, bringing extensive experience of development in membership and trade bodies.  

Tracey has worked closely with the membership, events and education team to create and deliver profitable events, to build BHTA brand recognition, to identify new services for members and develop new income streams.

Ray Hodgkinson MBE - Director of Public Affairs

Ray Hodgkinson MBE - Director of Public Affairs

Ray has worked in the healthcare industry since 1960 and ran his own business for twenty two years.

Ray became Director of Public Affairs in March 2015, having previously been BHTA's Director General since 1999. He has overseen a dramatic decade of positive progress for the Association and its membership, championing the commercial interests of the membership at UK governmental, European and global levels.

Sarah Lepak - Director of Governance & Policy

Sarah joined BHTA in 1991 as the Association's Committee Secretary. As the Association has grown, Sarah's role has evolved and she is now Director of Governance & Policy, responsible for the operation of the BHTA Code of Practice. She handles a myriad of enquiries from members, healthcare professionals and members of the public, having gained a good understanding of the various sectors in membership.

Steve Perry - Marketing & Communications Manager

Steve Perry has worked in the healthcare industry for 35 years. He has worked mainly in the mobility sector in a variety of roles in product development,  product launches, exhibitions, marketing and export.

Steve has been a member of BHTA both as a manufacturer and retailer and understands the challenges of the healthcare market in todays competitive environment. He joined BHTA in April 2016.

Philip Woodward - Accreditation & Professional Development Manager

Philip Woodward joined the BHTA as the Accreditation and Professional Development Manager following 14 years of experience within the membership sector, working for two professional bodies, the British Safety Council and most recently the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI). Prior to moving into the membership sector Philip worked in the marketing information industry .
