BHTA's membership currently comprises some 350 companies, both large and small.

The unique sector specific structure of the BHTA provides for different and distinct groupings of healthcare businesses. All sectors adhere to a strict Code of Practice.

Currently, we have 14 sectors that actively meet, plus an information only service for Exporters and for Suppliers to the Wheelchair Industry. Sectors are added or disbanded according to need. Companies participating will manufacture and/or distribute the products concerned, and/or provide services relating thereto.

(A number of Brethren organisations that are not members have, by special arrangement on religious grounds, registered their compliance with the BHTA Code of Practice and are thus covered by the Code policing arrangements.)
